Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso has been mentioned since ancient times as a wine of great renown. The first official documents date back to 1300, although the Romans already praised its qualities and, in particular, the intense and dark color of its grapes. Together with the Ribolla Gialla, it was described as a vine of great value, with a strong character thanks to the slightly herbaceous, fruity and mineral notes.
